Designing the tower was a genuine team effort. We kicked off with structured brainstorming sessions that brought together many perspectives, testing ideas against real training needs and industry standards. Our thanks to Rob and the ENSA USA team for their expert guidance on tower features and compliance. We also gathered lessons from the centres we visit globally and locally, and from colleagues who generously shared what works—and what to avoid. A special mention to Paulo at SP-Wind in South Africa for shaping our thinking on hub spaces for advanced rescue scenarios.
Through several rounds of refinement we produced a buildable, future-ready design. Rather than chasing height for its own sake, we’ve focused on high-fidelity elements that mirror real environments. That ensures strong learning transfer at lower heights, better trainee confidence, and safer, more controlled practice. It also enables ongoing on-site delivery of courses and realistic mock emergency exercises to ensure personnel are fit for work and prepared in the case of an incident.
