Wright Training Pty Ltd specialises in providing safety and training services to various industries such as resources, construction, power generation, quarrying, and manufacturing, with a specific focus on renewable energy, particularly wind energy. Our main objective is to help clients minimise their incident rates and fulfill their legal obligations while striving for industry-leading performance.

We aspire to become the primary provider of working at heights and rescue training for the wind industry in Asia-Pacific and we are working with other industry leaders to ensure we remain at the cutting edge of what we do. Through our safety and training services, we support our clients in streamlining their processes, reducing and preventing industrial accidents, saving time and costs, safeguarding lives, and fostering a culture of site safety.

Our Journey: Empowering Growth and Excellence

Embarking on Excellence (2011 – 2013):

2011: Launched our training and assessing services, partnering with RTO’s to serve our client needs.
2012: Established a pivotal partnership with RTO Safeguard Training & Services, broadening our reach in national recognised training (NRT) and significantly impacting the mining sector with Jellinbah Mining Group, QLD.
2013: Contributed our expertise to a major Department of Defence project and became the preferred provider for Boral Group’s Quarries, Cement, and Logistics divisions.

Expanding Horizons (2014 – 2017):

Returned to the Wind Industry in 2014, offering specialised training and assessments.
In 2015, consulted for the Department of Primary Industries and became the preferred training provider for Suzlon Energy Australia.
2016 – 2017: Achieved GWO Training Provider accreditation and ISO certification.

Innovative Growth and Challenges (2018 – 2020):

Welcomed a General Manager – Operations in 2018, enhancing our project management capacity. Our team also gained Advanced Rescue and product skills training in Europe.
Extended GWO training services to include Advanced Rescue Training (ART) and Enhanced First Aid (EFA).
Faced significant challenges in 2020 with bushfires impacting our operations, prompting a rebuild and resource replenishment. Despite these hurdles, we remained the training provider of choice for prominent clients like Vestas SA & WA.

Resilience and Advancement (2021 – Present):

Overcame global pandemic challenges, continuing to deliver top quality training to Wind Energy clients including Vestas and GE, and participating in industry forums.
2022: Participated in the world first IQT Trainer Workshop in Copenhagen. Co-hosted the Industry Conference for Safety in Wind Construction. Contributed to the development of GWO’s new Instructor Qualification Training Standard and conducted subsequent pilot programme.
Committed to excellence through gaining accreditation in ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
2023: Continuously evolving and committed to excellence in training and safety standards.
